My Story: When my husband Fred was diagnosed in January 2014 I was all at once devastated, angry and relieved. Yes relieved because at last we had an explanation for the back pains he had been enduring for the last six months and that were at that stage excruciating. Relieved because I believe that identifying a problem is the first step to start working on a solution. And that's what we've been working on ever since, thanks to the amazing work of the MMRF. On my side, I know I can't do much, but I'm convinced that every single little step counts to help the MMRF step up the pace. So I'll do whatever small step I can to help. Last year I joined Team for Cure and ran for them. This year, I'm Climbing That Mountain on Fred's side. I'm so proud of him. Together we can and we will do it. One step at a time.
