Dear Friends,

I will be participating in the 2016 Mt. Kilimanjaro Trek Team Living Proof as part of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) Team For Cures.

On January 17th I will start the 6 day trek to 20,000 ft..and the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. I want to thank those that have donated to The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation so far. MM is NOT curable..I can not say that enough. so I'll say it again..MM IS NOT CURABLE! But at the same time..every day I remind myself that if I had gotten MM 15-20 yrs ago..well, I'd be one very dead SOB (son of Bob sr). MMRF has led the way funding research which has brought drugs to the market that have helped me and many many others. This is not just some feel good organization that sends out fliers to increase cancer awareness. MMRF DIRECTLY funds cancer research.. I have, and am, personally taking drugs which they funded the research on. And's payback time. So here is the deal.. I'll pay for the trip..and I'll train like a mad person.. and I'll climb that flipping Mountain..You donate to MMRF.. I'll go with 15 other climbers..of which 2 of us are MM patients..the rest being people that have family members with MM..and Oncologist..a members of those who have lost there battle with MM..MMRF support staff..just to name a few.. and we will all make it to the top of the highest mountain on the African Continent..20,000 fricking feet! Again, thanks to those that have donated..and to those that have yet to donate please consider it.. This crap can hit anyone..

The Goal: Raise $10,000 for the MMRF!

The MMRF is one of the most highly regarded cancer foundations in the world. An outstanding 90% of the total MMRF budget goes directly towards research and related programming. And the MMRF is in the top 1% of all charities, having earned Charity Navigator’s 4-star rating for the past eleven years in a row.

Please support my participation in the Mt. Kilimanjaro Trek Team Living Proof benefiting the MMRF. I have made a commitment to raise at least $10,000, and I need your help to get there. Please contribute whatever you can. It all adds up!

Please take this opportunity to give back and support this game-changing cancer organization.
