Patagonia

On November 9-19, fifteen MMRF hikers, all with a connection to Multiple Myeloma will embark on the trek of a lifetime. This team will traverse Patagonia crossing over glaciers, through deep valleys, and ascending challenging peaks.
This rewarding and awe-inspiring five-day trek takes even novice climbers on a journey through the incredible landscape of Patagonia. The team will trek through Chalten, and acclimatize while they experience the mighty range of peaks dominated by Monte Fitz Roy, an 11,020-foot tower with a sheer face of more than 6,000 feet. Next trekkers reach Lago San Martin, they will range widely over the terrain in daily treks exploring a 10-mile long peninsula, climbing to a condor rookery, and reaching remote Andean lakes.
