I  am the Chief of Plasma Cell Disorder program and the Director of Clinical Research in Hematologic Malignancies at the Levine Cancer Institute/Carolinas HealthCare System in Charlotte, North Carolina. I am an internationally recognized clinical and translational researcher focused on plasma cell disorders in general, and high-risk multiple myeloma specifically. The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) is a wonderful platform that has enabled the multiple myeloma research community to pursue groundbreaking research that has resulted in improvement in the longevity and quality of our patients.

Participating in Moving Mountains for Myeloma is a small way in which I feel I can contribute to the raising awareness and research monies to continue the good work. No rest until we reach the goal — cure myeloma!
